While The Bean Hopper Comes With The Capacity Of 8 Ounces And That Of Grounds Bin Is 5 Ounces. Looking At Specs, This Unit Weighs 6.83 Pounds And Measures To Be Of 6.3 X 4.7 X 13.8 Inches.
On a very clear note, both the coffee grinder models have a pleasing appearance that looks simply wow, when kept at your kitchen counter. Moreover, it is compactly designed that takes minimal counter space.
Both the devices have black colour exterior along with transparent hopper that looks well. Being transparent, you can view the coffee beans from outside. As said, Capresso Infinity is available in three different colours (black, stainless steel, and brushed silver), whereas Baratza Encore is available only in black colour.
Overall, there's nothing serious we can spot among these two models, but Capresso Infinity provides you more options with different colours. Due to this, we can give a few more points to this model.
2.) Build Quality
Honestly speaking, both the coffee grinder models are identical and comparable when it comes over build quality. Both the models have above average build quality, but we don't have to forget the price tag.
Build quality is determined by the components of any device, whether it is made of metal parts or plastic parts. Again we would say, considering the price, both the models are best on their own.
Overall, we didn't find any big difference under this category; thereby, both the models are winners here.
We would like to tell you that both the coffee grinders include a hopper where you can store coffee beans before grinding. But the interesting part is that both the models don't have a hopper of the same capacity. Talking about Capresso Infinity, it has an 8.8-ounce hopper and a 4-ounce grounds bin.
Whereas, Baratza Encore has an 8-ounce hopper and a 5-ounce. But if you want more space for your Baratza Encore, there are some extension units available in the market which can be set on top of the hopper. The extension unit can increase the storage capacity for about 9 ounces.
Overall, storage is something which depends over user's preferences and needs. So if you want a compact machine, then Capresso Infinity is a winner. But, if you want a fashionable device where you get an option to add extra space, then Baratza Encore is a winner.
4.) Auto-Shutoff Option
This is the segment where you'll find a clear-cut difference between the Capresso Infinity and the Baratza Encore. Auto Shut-Off is a very useful feature that will use coffee beans on its own, grind it, and then will automatically turn the unit off.
But unfortunately, the Baratza Encore doesn't feature any Auto Shut-Off option. But if you want to add this feature to your machine, you can purchase an accessory called Baratza Esatto.
While the Capresso Infinity comes with an automated timer which you can set before grinding. But unfortunately, you need to spend some time with your gadget to use it properly.
So the grinder will work till the time you've set (hopefully correct), and then will be switched off automatically without getting any attention.
Overall, you've to pay a little extra to add this Auto shut off feature with Baratza Encore, but you get the same in Capresso Infinity by default.
